Browns Sports Resort, located in Vilamoura, have 4 groups of Swimming Lessons for children from 2 to 9 years old.

We have Swimming Lessons for children ages 2 and up.
The lessons are organised by age group:
Not at the moment, as we do not have an instructor qualified to teach Swimming Classes to babies from 6 months to 2 years old.
The lessons are adapted to the age group and individual level of the children.
If you prefer, you can take Private Lessons.
Our groups are small, with a limited number of places for up to 10 children, in order to provide a more individualised and personalised training.

If there is no availability, we may inform you about registrations for the next group or when there are any drop-outs in the current group.
The contacts on our Waiting List are the first to know about the new Packages of Lessons that we will open soon. We regularly contact those interested via telephone/mobile phone. If you wish to be contacted by our Reception before we publish information online, please provide your phone number and e-mail address.
It's possible to open a new group in another schedule, if we have enough people interested in the same group age. This was the case for children aged 4 to 6 years old.
If the children were attending regular Swim Lessons, we can make an exception and include the youngest child in a higher age group. However, the final decision will come from the Instructor. It will be necessary to evaluate the level of the younger child.
Each group has 2 Lessons per week.
Swimming Lessons for children from 2 to 3 years old last 30 minutes.
Swimming Lessons for children from 4 to 9 years old last 45 minutes.
The start date of the Packages of Lessons is subject to a minimum of 5 paid registrations. Please contact our reception for information on the expected start date of the next Package of Lessons.
If you are on our Swimming Lessons Contact List, we will contact you via telephone when we have more information about the date for the next Packages.
All Packages of Lessons have a defined start and end date.
If a Lesson is cancelled, it will be compensated at the end of the Package.
There are no Swimming Lessons on National and Municipal Holidays and school holiday periods to celebrate Christmas, Carnival and Easter.

The Swimming Lessons timetable depends on the availability of the Instructor, the Parents and Guardians and the indoor swimming pool.
We may open new lessons at other times in the future. If you are interested, we may contact you when we have Swimming Lessons at a time that suits you.
Our Swimming Lessons have no monthly fee.
We do Packages for Swimming Lessons with a defined start and end date.
If you have interest in continuing the Swimming Lessons, you can buy a new Package of Lessons.
Lessons are sold as a package of lessons. Each Swimming Lesson costs 10€.
Ex: A package of 10 lessons costs € 100 per child.
Registration is done in person at our Reception, between 7:30am and 10pm.

You will be asked to fill in a Registration Form with personal data of the Child and the Parents or Guardian and agree to the Regulations and Terms of Responsibility.
The payment of the full amount of the Package is required for registration to be accepted.
If it is the first time that the child has Swimming Lessons with us, you will be asked to pay the Inscription Fee (value: 10€).
If there is a place in the current Package, your child may start attending Swimming Lessons immediately. There will be no charge for Lessons already given in the Package. The amount to be paid will be adjusted. We will sum up the number of Lessons to be given until the end date of the Package. (€10 per lesson).
Being on our contact list does not imply that we will guarantee a place for your child.
The payment of the Package of Lessons is a mandatory requirement to fill the places.
If the number of children is insufficient to start a Package of Lessons, we will do the refund.
In the event of a student missing regular lessons or substitute lessons, whether these are held at regular times or stipulated times, Browns Sports Resort is not responsible for their substitution or refund.
Missed lessons will not be reimbursed or compensated for. If a Medical Certificate is presented, specifying the reason for which the student could not attend, the class will be compensated for in future swimming packages.
No. Packages of Lessons must be paid in full.
We understand that children may participate in other extra-curricular activities within our lessons' timetable, however attending 2 Swimming Lessons per week is more beneficial to children's learning.
As these are packages with a set start and finish date, lessons are planned so that children can progress over time.
If they attend only once a week, they may not be able to keep up with their classmates.
As we have limited places available, Parents and Guardians that want their kids to attend these lessons twice a week and pay the full cost of the Package are at the top of our list of registrations.
I'm sorry it's not possible to make an exception.
You would have to pay for the full 2 Packages of Lessons, even though you can only come for half the classes.
Every situation has to be addressed individually.

Requests for trial lessons are analysed individually.
If we approve your request, the trial lesson will be scheduled in advance.
For the orderly running of the Swimming Lessons, we would like these measures to be respected:
All people that enter the Indoor Pool must wear a swimming cap. This measure also applies to Parents and Guardians accompanying children in the water.
It is mandatory to use clean flip-flops in the access area of the Indoor Pool. It is not allowed to circulate barefoot or with shoes worn on the outside.
Taking a shower is mandatory before entering and after leaving the Indoor Pool.
After using the Indoor Pool, you must dry off with a towel before circulating in the Health Club areas or going to the Changing Rooms.
Filip-flops, towels and other personal items are the Parent or Guardian’s responsibility. You can buy a swimming cap at the Reception.
Children in the group from 2 to 3 years may be accompanied by ONE parent or guardian inside the Indoor Pool but must be properly equipped:
It is recommended that the parents or guardians of children aged 4 to 6 and 7 to 9 watch the Swimming Lessons outside the access to the Indoor Swimming Pool, through the window in the corridor.
Photography and video recording should be done outside the access to the Indoor Swimming Pool to avoid disturbing the Swimming Lessons.
